The coroner in Eagle County, Colorado, has ruled the death of an Indiana doctor accidental, caused by multiple injuries due to a fall. 39-year-old James McGrogan, a native of Chesterton, was reported missing in the Colorado backcountry near Vail March 14th after he became separated from his group while on a hiking trip. Police say his body was found by skiers last Thursday about four-and-a-half miles from the trail that leads to an area he had been hiking to. Officials say fellow hikers said McGrogan walked ahead of the group. McGrogan had recently moved back to the Hoosier state with his family and started a new job at St. Joseph Medical Center in Mishawaka.
