The Greater Northwest Indiana Association of Realtors today announced their Board of Directors, and the Starke-Pulaski Board of Realtors, recently came to a merger agreement. Officials report the merger took effect on May 1st and the Realtor Association will now include Lake, Porter, Starke, Pulaski, Jasper and Newton Counties, with the exception of a portion of Newton County south of State Road 16 and County Road 900 South.
The Greater Northwest Indiana Association of Realtors CEO Peter Novak, Jr. says adding Starke and Pulaski counties to their jurisdiction will be mutually beneficial to their membership and members of the public and the merger will align itself with the eastward traffic patterns currently occurring in the marketplace.
