Indiana State Police Lowell Post held its annual memorial service today to remember those state police employees who have given their lives in the line of duty. Guests at the service included the family of fallen Indiana State Trooper Scott Patrick, who was killed in the line of duty on December 22nd, 2003, as well as several state police retirees.
A total of 46 Indiana State police employees have lost their lives in the line of duty since the department was formed in 1933, with memorial services being held each May at all Indiana State Police districts.
