Possible Link Between Red Meat and Breast Cancer

A new study says there's a possible link between red meat and breast cancer. ABC News reports that sizzling steak, that decadent burger, may come with a new risk: a possibly greater likelihood of getting breast cancer. Researchers at Harvard asked 88-thousand women between 26 and 45 years old to fill out surveys back in 1991. Some of them reported eating as many as six servings of red meat every day. And 20 years later, those who ate the most were roughly seven tenths of one percent more likely to have breast cancer. The link is not definitive, researchers say, but it underlines the importance of eating a healthy diet.
