In observance of Columbus Day, government offices, including the Department of Motor Vehicles, are closed. Courts and public schools are also closed. There is no mail delivery. State Offices and banks are also closed in observance of Columbus Day today.

Hoosier Lottery offices are closed in observance of the holiday, however Hoosier Lottery drawings will occur at their regular times. No other business will be conducted at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters or Hoosier Lottery Regional Offices today [[ Monday ]] . Hoosier Lottery officials note prizes of 599-dollars or less may still be claimed, as usual, at many Hoosier Lottery retail locations.
