News Release (Monday Dec 17 2012): Valparaiso Police Department’s F.O.P Lodge 76 yearly presents two officers with awards. The first award is Officer of the Year and the second award is Supervisor of the Year award. Both awards are voted on by F.O.P. Lodge members.
This year Officer Jerame Simpson was named Officer of the Year 2012 and Lt. Brian McDonald was name Supervisor of the Year 2012. Officer Simpson is a 6yr veteran of the department and Lt. McDonald a 14 yr veteran.
