Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday (March 10 2013) at 2 am – but the debate over time zones in Indiana may never end... Most of the state, including South Bend, Lafayette and Indianapolis, used to be on Eastern Standard all year long, but that changed in April 2006, when all counties in the state began observing Daylight Saving Time. Carmel Senator Mike Delph authored a resolution this session asking the US Department of Transportation to hold hearings on placing the entire state in the Central Time Zone.
