Indiana State Police say a weekend traffic stop in Northwest Indiana resulted in the seizure of more than five pounds of suspected heroin with an estimated street value of approximately 150-thousand dollars . A Senior Trooper from the Lowell Post made a traffic stop on a car on southbound I-65 around 8 am Sunday near the Remington exit at the 205 mile marker in southern Jasper County for allegedly going 97 miles per hour in a 70 mile an hour zone. Troopers say the driver, a 26-year-old Miami, Florida, man was taken to jail on felony drug charges and a speeding infraction.
