The Indiana State Board of Education has approved the release of the 2012-2013 A-F accountability grades. Responding through a statement, Governor Mike Pence thanked all the education board members including Superintendent Ritz, for "working together to complete this important task and for all their efforts on behalf of Hoosier kids."
The governor went on to say "Today's release of the...accountability grades demonstrate that our schools have risen to the challenge of improving outcomes across the state of Indiana and our kids are better for it."
Pence also said, "Education in Indiana is improving every day and our kids, our teachers and our schools deserve to be commended."
