In Hammond, an Oak Hill Cemetery Civil War Dedication and Veterans Day Ceremony is 11 am this Sunday. Oak Hill Cemetery in on Hohman Avenue. 20th Indiana Infantry Civil War re-enactment group, Munster Girl Scout Troop 10051, American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association, and Calumet Region Civil War Preservation Project will be among those participating.

Hobart's Veterans groups the American Legion, the Marine Corps Howlin Mad Detachment 93, and the VFW will commemorate Veterans Day at 11 a.m. Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park 5899 East 73rd Ave. Music will be provided by Dean Wolf and his group, Wolfgang Singers. Hobart High School Junior ROTC members will display a color guard and also help assist the elderly to the front seats. All military personnel and civilians are invited.
