AM Drive Jack Swanda has spent most of his broadcast career getting Omaha Nebraska out of bed. Over the years, Jack hosted mornings on Omaha’s KLTQ, KEFM and KGOR. He is also enshrined as a member of the Nebraska Radio Hall of Fame. If you recognize Jack’s voice, it’s probably because he has done voice work that can be heard all over the country for major corporate clients and ESPN.
Midday Cathy Taylor is a Florida native and a big fan of all things music, family, friends and outdoor sports. Radio is Cathy’s other passion, and she has been entertaining listeners for over 15 years. She started her broadcasting career in Florida and has hosted shows on WTBT, Tampa and WOLZ in Ft. Myers. Most recently, Cathy was part of the morning show on Denver’s leading AC station KOSI and also KQMT.
Midday Teresa Brown was going to be a rock star, but that did not work out. So she found a home on the radio instead. From Las Vegas to Virginia Beach to Dallas, Teresa has been town-to-town, up and down the radio dial. With many more years of broadcast experience than she cares to mention, her main objective is to have a good time. Teresa says “If you have a story to tell and a great song life is sweet!”
PM Drive Scott LeTourneau started his radio career during his junior year in high school. Soon, the larger markets called him and Scott was doing afternoon drive in Dallas by the age of 20. There he worked with some veterans who prepared him ready for Chicago at 23. After 2 & a half winters in the Windy City, Scott’s LeTour scored well in Denver, Cincinnati, Kansas City & Albuquerque.
Evenings Mary Marlowe knocked on the doors of every radio station in her hometown of Colorado Springs until one of them hired her. That was 1990, and since then, she’s worked at KOSI in Denver, K-101 in San Francisco, and B-101 in Philadelphia. Mary returned to Colorado radio a few years ago and is the newest member of the WAKE air staff.
Overnight Billy Shears has been in radio since the early 70’s, working in markets as small as Barnesboro, Pa and as large as Atlanta. His multi format experience includes AC, Hot AC, News-Talk, Country and Top 40. Billy also worked at WRMM in Atlanta, WFMM in Pittsburgh and KYKY, St. Louis.
